Aspiring candidates can now apply for the exam by visiting the official website, makautwb.ac.in. The deadline for registration is June 22, with the examination scheduled for June 29.

How to Apply for MAKAUT CET 2024

  1. Visit the official website at makautwb.ac.in.
  2. Locate and click on the ‘Apply Here’ link.
  3. A new page will open with the exam details and ‘Apply Online’ tab displayed on screen.
  4. Select the link and subsequently, fill out the personal, education and contact information online (upload photograph and signature as per the university’s instructions on the website).
  5. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
  6. Verify and correct details if necessary before final submission.
  7. If everything is alright, hit ‘Submit’.
  8. Save and download a printed copy of the application form for future reference

Upon successful submission, an application number and password will be sent via email and SMS for future reference.

Application Fees

Candidates from unreserved category need to pay ₹600. Reserved category candidates, including SC, ST, PwD, and OBC, need to pay ₹300.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted online and will last for 60 minutes, featuring multiple choice questions. It will comprise 50 questions divided into three sections: General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, English, and Numerical Ability. Each correct answer will earn 2 marks, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The MAKAUT CET 2024 provides an opportunity for students to enroll in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes such as BSc, MSc, BCA, and BBA. The entrance test facilitates admission to non-AICTE courses across various professional fields.
