The State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell of Maharashtra has announced the seat matrix for MBBS and BDS admissions for the academic year 2023-24, marking the initiation of round 2 of the admission process. Aspiring candidates who have registered for the Maharashtra NEET UG 2023 counselling can now access the official website: cetcell.net.in.
The facility to fill in choices will remain open from August 24 to 26. Subsequent to candidates indicating their preferences, the Maharashtra NEET UG seat allotment results 2023 are scheduled for announcement on August 29.
Recent announcements from the CET Cell encompass the comprehensive schedule for both round 2 and round 3 of admissions. Alongside the release of the round 2 seat matrix, the CET Cell has also disclosed virtual vacancies in 74 medical colleges across the state for MBBS and BDS courses.
Explaining the concept of virtual vacancies, the official website elaborates, "Virtual vacancies are those seats which are presently occupied by candidates who have not filled status. Retention form likely to opt for the second round."

1. Visit the official Maharashtra CAP website: cetcell.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the NEET UG option under the undergraduate course tab.
3. You will be redirected to cetcell.net.in/NEET-UG-2023/login.
4. In the notification section, locate and click on the 'Provisional seat matrix for MBBS, BDS admission' link.
5. The Maharashtra NEET UG seat matrix 2023 in PDF format will be displayed.
6. Review the available colleges, courses, and the number of seats.
7. Download the PDF to explore the virtual vacancies for round 2.
