The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell commenced the Centralised Process of Admission (CAP) for 5-year LLB courses. The registration link for counselling has been hosted on the CAP official portal- llb5cap24.mahacet.org.
Along with the MH LLB 5-year counselling application form 2024, the CET Cell has also uploaded the information brochure containing details of seat matrix, admission procedure, and fee structure. The deadline to apply for the MAH 5-year LLB counselling 2024 is till 13 July.
As per the eligibility criteria, Maharashtra state candidates belonging to open, EWS, SEBC and orphan category should have obtained 45% marks in aggregate in Class 12 and those belonging to SC, ST category should have obtained 40% marks in aggregate. The reserved category students belonging to other states will not be given 5% relaxation, as per the criteria notified in the brochure.
On the other hand, VJNT, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, SBC and OBC category candidates belonging to Maharashtra with minimum 42% marks in aggregate will be eligible for admission.
Students who have obtained Class 12 or first degree certificate after processing studies in distance or correspondence method are eligible for the course. However, those who have obtained Class 12 through the Open University system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible.
They should have obtained a valid score in MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024. “The percentage of marks shall not be calculated by rounding off to the nearest integer,” it clarified.
