The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is set to conclude the online registration process for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2023, today, February 6. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 235 vacancies across various state government departments through APSC CCE 2023. Aspiring candidates aiming to participate in APSC CCE Prelims 2023 must swiftly complete their applications on the official website of the commission, apsc.nic.in.
Scheduled tentatively for March 17, 2023, the Preliminary examination serves as the initial step in this rigorous selection process. Following this, the Mains examination is anticipated to take place in June or July of this year. Further details regarding examination dates will be communicated in due course.
Candidates are required to remit an application fee of ₹250 for general category applicants and ₹150 for ST, SC, OBC, and MOBC candidates. Additionally, a processing fee of ₹40, along with an 18 per cent GST, is applicable. However, individuals falling under the BPL, PwBD, and women categories are exempt from the examination fee, albeit subject to the processing fee and GST.
Eligible candidates must fulfill the age criterion, being between 21 to 38 years old as of January 1, 2023, to be eligible for APSC CCE 2023. Relaxation in the upper age limit is granted to reserved category candidates as per government regulations.
The preliminary examination will consist of objective type questions, while the main examination will include a descriptive written test and an interview (personality test).
