The National Testing Agency has extended the last date for registration for the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December Session. Candidates who have not yet registered themselves for the exam, can do so by Wednesday, December 11.
Apart from extending the last date of registration for the UGC NET Exam by one day, the NTA has also extended the last date for payment of online fees for the exam. Candidates can now pay the application fee by December 12.
Earlier, the last date for submission of online application was December 10 while the last day for payment of registration fee was December 11.
Following the conclusion of the registration process, candidates will be provided the opportunity to make corrections in their application form. The correction window will open on December 13 and will close on December 14.
How to register for UGC NET 2024 December Session?
Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA at ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the registration link available on the homepage
Step 3: Register yourself by providing all necessary details
Step 4: Login to your account by providing your login credentials
Step 5: Fill up the application form
Step 6: Pay application fee
Step 7: Submit the application
Step 8: Take a printout of the filled in application form
The examination will be conducted between January 1 and January 19, 2025 at various centres throughout the country in 85 subjects. Through this exam, eligibility of candidates will be determined fro Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor and PhD admission at various universities.
