Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must fall within the age bracket of 18 to 30 as of January 1, 2024, and possess a Madhyamik Examination qualification from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in the Bengali language is also mandatory, barring permanent residents of the hill subdivisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts from this requirement.
Application Fees
It stands at ₹170 for all categories, except for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates of West Bengal, who are required to pay ₹20 only.
Selection Process
It includes a rigorous examination procedure, consisting of a Written Examination followed by a series of physical assessments, including the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and culminating in an interview conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
