Students aiming for postgraduate studies in Karnataka rejoice! The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024, originally scheduled for July 13 and 14. This decision comes after considering requests from students facing conflicts with their university final semester exams beginning July 5 and July 10.
The KEA aims to ensure a fair testing environment for all PGCET aspirants. The rescheduled exam dates will be announced on the KEA website soon.
This postponement brings positive news for those who have not registered yet. The application window has reopened and will be available from June 26 until July 7 (11:59 PM). The fee payment window closes on July 9, (6 PM). The registration fee is ₹650 for General/OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST candidates.
However, candidates must note that dates will not be further extended for completion of online registration.
Karnataka PGCET will be conducted for students wishing to pursue MTech/ ME/ MBA/ MCA/ MArch programmes at educational institutes across Karnataka.
