The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka PGCET 2024 mock seat allotment results, following an extended schedule. Candidates who participated in the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) counselling process can now access their mock allotment results on the KEA official website, by entering their PGCET number.
The announcement of the mock allotment results initially scheduled for November 9 was delayed due to numerous requests from candidates urging KEA to reopen the option entry window. Responding to the demands, KEA extended the option entry period until noon on November 11. This extension provided candidates additional time to modify their preferred colleges and courses, enhancing the accuracy and satisfaction of their choices.
Mock Allotment Result - Download Steps
Candidates can follow these steps to check their mock allotment results and download their allotment letter:
- Visit the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
- Click on the link for the mock allotment result.
- Log in using the CET number.
- Download the mock allotment letter for reference.
The mock allotment is a crucial phase in the counselling process, as it provides candidates a preview of their likely seat allotment based on the preferences they submitted. It allows students to reconsider and modify their choices before the actual seat allotment. They will be able to enter new options, and reorder or delete already entered ones until November 14, 2024 (11 AM).
With the mock allotment results now live, KEA is expected to release the revised counselling schedule for Karnataka PGCET 2024 admissions soon. According to the earlier schedule, the first round of PGCET seat allotment results was initially set to be declared on November 12. Given the adjustments, candidates can now anticipate the first round of seat allotment results to be announced within this week.
