The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially announced the exam schedule and centre details for the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2024 with major changes in both. Aspiring diploma students across Karnataka eagerly anticipate this crucial information, as it sets the stage for their further education and career plans.
Mode of Exam
It was previously informed by the authority that the examination would be conducted in online mode, but due to multiple reasons, it has now been decided that DCET 2024 will be held in offline mode in the OMR answer sheet method.
Exam Centre Allocation
Bagalkot, Bellary, Bangalore, Belagavi, Devangere, Dharwad, Kalburgi, Udupi, Mysore, Shimoga, Tumkur, and Vijayapura are the only districts in which the examination will be conducted. During the application process, candidates who have selected exam centres other than the mentioned ones will have to re-select the places.
“DCET-2024 exam district should be selected from 11.00 am on 24-05-2024 to 27.05.2024 - 11.59 pm by selecting the appropriate link in the KEA Website by the candidates who have selected exam district other than the above districts ”, the official notification additionally mentioned.
The KEA has meticulously designated various centres across the state to facilitate the smooth conduct of the examination. These centres have been chosen to ensure accessibility for all candidates, minimizing travel time and inconvenience.
DCET 2024 will be conducted on June 22, 2024, for students wishing to pursue lateral engineering programmes and architecture diploma programmes at institutes/colleges/universities across Karnataka for the academic year 2024-2025.
