Verification of documents for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2023 counselling has started today, 27 June 2023. The KCET 2023 counselling is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
Documents required for verification:
- KCET 2023 Admit Card
- KCET 2023 Final Application Form
- SSLC/10 grade Marksheet
- 2 PUC/12 grade Marksheet
- Candidate’s Study Certificate from the head of the institution
- Rural Study Certificate from 1 to 10 grade (IF Rural Quota is claimed)
- Kannada Medium Study Certificate from 1 to 10 grade (IF Kannada Medium Quota is claimed)
- Caste/Caste Income Certificate issued by concerned Tahsildar (IF Reservation Benefit is claimed)
Candidates who have claimed eligibility clause “a” while filling up the application form for KCET 2023 are eligible for online verification of their documents. However, prior to uploading the above-mentioned documents, some of them have to be countersigned by the jurisdictional Block Educational Officer (BEO).
Documents that have to be verified by the BEO office:
- Candidate’s Study Certificate from the head of the institution
- Rural Study Certificate from 1 to 10 grade (IF Rural Quota is claimed)
- Kannada Medium Study Certificate from 1 to 10 grade (IF Kannada Medium Quota is claimed)
- Caste/Caste Income Certificate issued by concerned Tahsildar (IF Reservation Benefit is claimed)
The above documents can be verified by eligible candidates at the BEO office attached to their school/college from 27 June to 15 July 2023. The process will be conducted in three phases daily and students are to appear for the same based on their rank.

Candidates who have claimed eligibility clauses other than “a” are required to appear for offline verification of all documents at KEA Bangalore. The schedule for the offline verification will be released soon.
