Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2024: Know important dates inside; submission of special category certificates begins

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) published the complete schedule for Karnataka UG NEET 2024 counselling for admission to medical, dental and other UG medical courses offered by participating colleges in the state. Interested candidates can check the schedule on the KEA official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

As per a official notice of Karnataka AYUSH Department, “85% of seats available for admission in government and government aided institutions (except 15% All India Quota) and in Private Institutions all seats (including state quota, all India quota and management/ NRI quota) available for UG courses in Private Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy colleges of Karnataka state shall be allotted through KEA.”

“Before selecting the declaration take the draft print and verify the entries and do the changes if required. Once declaration is done changes cannot be made,” it further added.

KEA NEET UG 2024: Important Dates

Publication of Notification in the KEA website- 4 August

Information Bulletin- 5 August

Commencement of online registration- 7 August

Deadline for online application entry process- 9 August

Submission of special category certificates (only by Karnataka candidates - NCC, Sports, Defence, Ex-defence, Scouts and Guides, CAPF, Ex-CAPF, AGL) only at KEA, Bangalore- 10 August (10 am to 1 pm for fresh registered candidates)

Kannada Language Test only for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga Candidates (only to newly registered, those CET-2024 candidates who have already appeared for Kannada examination on 20-04-2024 are not eligible to appear or Kannada Language Test once again)- 11 August (3 pm to 4 pm)

Medical Examination to Physically Disabled candidates - only for Karnataka candidates - who have already appeared for medical examination for UGCET-2024 need not appear for UG NEET-2024 medical examination- 12 August (10 am to 1 pm)
