The results of West Bengal Madhyamik Exam 2024 were declared on Thursday by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) through a press conference. Fifity-seven students have secured the top 10 positions in the state. The overall pass percentage of this year's Madhyamik Exam is 86.31 which is slightly higher than the previous year's pass percentage of 86.15 percent.

While 83.9 percent of the female candidates had qualified in the examination, the percentage of male candidates passing the examination stood at 89.21 percent.

A total of 9,12,598 students had appeared in the examination at 986 centres throughout the state with a total of 7,76,252 students qualifying the exam. This includes 4,03,900 male students and 5,08,698 female students.
