The registration process for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling, 2024 will close on Tuesday, June 18. Candidates who have cleared the JEE Advanced Exam 2024 and have not yet registered for counselling are requested to do so at the earliest. This year, the JEE Advanced Exam was conducted by IIT Madras.

The JoSAA Counselling 2024 facilitates admissions to a total of 121 institutes for the academic year 2024-25. These include 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, 26 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and 40 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).

As per the official schedule, today, June 18, 2024, marks the deadline for candidate registration and choice filling on the JoSAA official website, josaa.nic.in. Additionally, candidates must complete pre-payment of the seat acceptance fee by the end of today.

Following the closure of registrations, JoSAA will proceed with data reconciliation, verification, and validation on June 19, 2024. Seat allocation for Round 1 will commence on June 20, 2024, with subsequent rounds continuing until July 23, 2024, with specific rounds allocated for different categories of institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs.

Candidates are advised to stay updated with the official JoSAA and CSAB websites for further announcements and detailed schedules regarding fee payments, document uploads, and withdrawal options throughout the counselling process.
