JoSAA is a centralised process for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutes based on the ranks obtained in JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations.
Steps to Check JoSAA Round 4 Seat Allotment Result
- Visit the official JoSAA website at josaa.nic.in.
- Click on the designated link for "Seat Allotment Result Round 5."
- Enter your JEE Main application number and password.
- View your seat allotment status.
- Download the allotment letter for future reference.
The seat allotment is based on their exam ranks, preferred choices, and available seats in prestigious institutes.
Important Dates
IITs and NIT+ System
- July 17 to July 22, 2024 - Online reporting (fee payment/document upload)
- July 23, 2024 - Resolution of fee payment and other issues
NIT+ System
- July 17 to July 23, 2024 - Withdrawal of seat/query response.
- July 24 to July 26, 2024 - Payment of partial admission fee (PAF).
Candidates who have been allotted seats must complete the necessary formalities, including fee payment and document verification, within the stipulated timeframe. Failing to pay the fee or upload the required documents by the deadline will result in seat cancellation. Once the seat is confirmed, they'll need to report to their allotted institutes as per the institute-specific guidelines.
