The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification regarding the release of the application form for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET). The last date for submission of the application form is 10 August 2022 up to 11:50 PM. The correction window for candidates will be opened from 12 August to 16 August 2022.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination will be administered in Computer Best test (CBt) format by the National Testing Agency (NTA), under the direction of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

Step 1: Visit the official website of CSIR-UGC NET

Step 2: Click on the ‘Registration of CSIR-UGC NET June 2022’ link

Step 3: Select ‘New Registration’ and enter all the required information

Step 4: Post registering, your login credentials will be sent to your registered email ID

Step 5: Log in to the portal with your credentials

Step 6: Upload the scanned documents and pay the application fee

Step 7: Submit the application form, download it as a PDF and take a printout as well for future reference

The development of the nation's science and technology human resources is the goal of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Fellowship programme. Each year, a sizable number of JRFs are given out by CSIR to applicants who pass the test, which is conducted twice a year in June and December.

Indian citizens who meet the requirements set out by UGC may take the Joint CSIR-UGC NET test to evaluate their eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Lectureships (LS)/Assistant Professor positions in Indian institutions and colleges.
