The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has started the NVS Class 6 registration 2024-25. Students eligible for admission can apply for the Jawaharlal Nehru Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) on the official website at navodaya.gov.in.

Candidates must note, the deadline to apply is 10 August 2023.

  • Certificate verified by the headmaster mentioning the details of candidate in the prescribed format
  • Photograph
  • Signature of parent
  • Signature of candidate
  • Aadhaar details or residence certificate issued by competent Government authority.

NVS registration Class 6 2024: How to apply

  • Log on to the official website at navodaya.gov.in
  • On the homepage, navigate and click on ‘NVS class VI registration’ link.
  • Complete the registration process.
  • Fill up the JNVST application form.
  • Pay the application fees and submit.
  • Download the confirmation page and keep a printout of it for further use

The JNVST 2024 exam is scheduled to be held in two phases. According to the official schedule, the first test will be held on 4 November 2023, at 11:30 am in Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Dibang Valley and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling of West Bengal, and Leh and Kargil districts of Ladakh.
