The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the exam dates for Assistant Professor positions in Medical and other disciplines. Candidates can now check the updated schedule on the official website: jkpsc.nic.in.
According to the notification, the examination is set to take place on Sunday, October 29, 2023 in two sessions – from 10 am to Noon and from 2 pm to 4 pm, respectively.
The Written Examination (Objective Type) will be conducted for various posts, including Assistant Professor in Anatomy, ENT, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, Community Medicine, Medical Record Officer, Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases, Anesthesiology, Casualty Medical Officer, Librarian for Central Library, and Dentistry.
The commission has also announced that exams for other disciplines will be held on November 3 and 4, 2023 with a detailed schedule to be provided separately. Furthermore, examinations for specific posts, such as Assistant Professor at Rural Training Health Centres, Medical Officer Health-Cum-Lecturer, and others in various locations, have been postponed until further notice.
Candidates appearing for the examinations on October 29, 2023 are required to report to the examination halls situated within the premises of the J&K Public Service Commission at Solina, Srinagar, and Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar in Jammu.
Admit cards for the exam will be accessible on the official website jkpsc.nic.in. However, those facing difficulties in downloading their Admit Cards may visit the Commission office in Jammu/Srinagar on or before October 28, 2023.
