The admission process for the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu for the 2022-23 academic year began on May 10.

The Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) 2022 will be held on Sunday July 3. The test is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the first time this year. Registration for the national-level entrance test began on May 10.

The last date for online registration and submission of the online application form is 5pm on June 9. The exam fees for JIPMAT 2022 has to be paid by 11.50pm on June 10.

The dates for the correction of application form and release of admit card are yet to be announced.

How to apply

Application forms must be submitted only through online mode.

  • Visit jipmat.nta.ac.in
  • Click on ‘JIPMAT- 2022 New Registration’
  • Fill in the online application form with personal details
  • Fill in the online application form with qualification details
  • Upload scanned images of photograph and signature. The images should be in jpg/jpeg format. The photograph must be between 10kb to 200kb in size. The signature image must be between 4kb to 30kb in size.
  • Pay fee through online payment modes

Exam fee

  • General/Other Backward Classes (OBC)-Non Creamy Layer (NCL): Rs 2,000 for both male and female candidates
  • Economically Backward Class (EWS)/SC/ST/PwD: Rs 1,000 for both male and female candidates
  • Transgender: Rs 1,000

Eligibility criteria

• Applicants must have passed their Class XII or equivalent examination in the Arts, Commerce or Science stream with 60% marks or 55% marks, for candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person with Disability (PwD) category, or more in the year 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022.

• The candidate also must have passed the Class X examination with 60% marks or 55% marks, for candidates from SC/ST/PwD category, or more in the year, not before, 2018.

Exam pattern and marking scheme

  • Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT) mode
  • Medium of Exam: The exam paper will be in English language only
  • Duration of Exam: 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes)
  • Exam timing: 3pm to 5.30pm
  • Question format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • Number of sections: The paper will be divided into three sections — Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
  • Number of Questions: Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning will have 33 questions each. Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension will have 34 questions. The paper will have a total of 100 questions.
  • Marking Scheme: Candidates will be awarded four marks for each right answer. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
