Jharkhand TET Registration Deadline 2024 Extended Again; Know Last Date to Apply Here

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi, has again extended the registration deadline for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2024. Eligible candidates can now fill out the JHTET 2024 application form by 30 August through the official website- jactetportal.com.

The official notification reads, “In response to requests from candidates, a final opportunity has been provided, and the new deadline for submitting the application form is now from August 29, 2024, to August 30, 2024, until 5:00 PM. The remaining terms and conditions of notification number 30/2024 will remain unchanged.”

JHTET registration 2024 commenced on 23 July 2024. Earlier, the initial deadline to apply for the Jharkhand TET 2024 exam was 22 August, which was later extended to 26 August 2024.

Jharkhand TET Registration 2024: Steps to apply

1. Visit the admission portal of JAC- https://www.jactetportal.com/
2. On the homepage, click on the Register Now for fresh registration
3. Fill in the necessary details such as name, date of birth, and address, among others, and create a password
4. Make the payment and submit the form
5. Download the PDF and take a printout of the same for future reference

The fee for Unreserved (UR), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories is Rs 1,300 per paper or Rs 1,500 for both papers. Candidates who come from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories will pay Rs 700 per paper or Rs 800 for both papers. Primitive tribe candidates will pay Rs 500 per paper or Rs 600 for both papers.
