Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is likely to declare the results of the state board exam for Class X in a day or two, School Education and Literacy Department Minister Jagarnath Mahto said on June 20.
Mahto said, "The results may be declared in a day or two. We are making all efforts in this regard. However, it all depends on the final preparation by the JAC."
The state board examination for Class X started on March 24 and ended on April 20. Over 7 lakh students appeared for the exams, that was conducted in two shifts. Exams for Class X students was conducted in the first sitting, while Class XII students appeared in the second sitting. The exam was held in 24 districts in Jharkhand.
JAC conducted offline board exams first time since 2020 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Jharkhand government had to cancel the examinations in 2021 due to a rise in COVID cases in the state.
Anil Mahto, JAC chairman said, "We are engaged in final preparation for the announcement of the results. We cannot give any final date but we are trying to announce it as soon as possible. If we can complete the results by June 20 midnight, we may announce it on Tuesday. Otherwise, the date will extend."
The council is also making arrangements to announce the results of the science stream of the state board exam for class XII.
