The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) matriculation and intermediate exams for Classes X and XII will be held from March 24.
The matriculation exams will continue till April 20 and the intermediate exams till April 25. The results of the examinations will be announced before June 30.
Over seven lakh students are scheduled to appear for the exams, which will be conducted in two shifts.
The matric exams will be held from 9.45am to 11.20am and from 11.25am to 1.05pm. The intermediate exams will be held from 2pm to 3.35pm and from 3.40pm to 5.20pm.
In the first shift, the examinees will be given OMR sheets and in the second shift they will be given answer booklets to write.
The administration in all 24 districts of Jharkhand have been directed to take all steps to ensure smooth conduct of examinations and also ensure that no unfair means are adopted by the examinees.
Meetings have been held in all the districts with the centre superintendents on COVID-19 guidelines to be followed at the exam centres.
