The application window for the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) 2023 is scheduled to close today, 3 March 2023 at 11:59 PM. The application process started on 24 January 2023. The last date for the submission of the online registration fee is 3 March 11:59 PM.
Candidates yet to complete the JEST 2023 application process should do the same within the stipulated time to be eligible for appearing on the test date in March. Aspirants must check the JEST 2023 eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

JEST 2023 Application Process
- Visit the official website - jest.org.in.
- Enter your personal details like Email ID, password, name and date of birth.
- You will get an email including account information after registering with a valid email ID
- After email verification, the site will lead to the application form for the JEST exam.
- Fill in the required details as mentioned.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in their Joint Entrance Screening Test application form.
- Make the payment for the JEST exam online by Debit card/Credit card and Net-banking. Any other payment mode will not be accepted.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the registration process for the JEST exam.
JEST 2023 Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the unreserved (General) category- males are required to make a payment of INR 800, meanwhile, Female applicants in the unreserved (General) category will have to pay INR 400.
Additionally, the application fee for the male applicants falling in the SC/ST/category is INR 400, meanwhile, females in the same category can apply for the JEST 2023 for free.
JEST 2023 will be conducted through paper-pencil Based Test (PBT) or offline mode. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the MSc and PhD (integrated and regular) offered by the participating Institutions/ Universities such as IISc, IISERs, NISER, etc.
