A good lifestyle is very important to keep yourself healthy before the exam

"With only a few days left before the examination, students should focus both on their physical and mental health. It is essential to maintain a good lifestyle before the exam. They should have proper sleep and have healthy food," said Prof (Dr) Saroj Mondal, from Civil Engineering Department, Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

Not only leading a healthy lifestyle, Dr Mondal also focussed on the digital detoxification for a few days before the examination.

Restricted usage of mobile phones

Usage of mobile phones before the exam should be limited.

"Students should lessen the usage of mobile phones before the examination. You can listen to songs or watch television but that should be limited. If the students wish, they can go out for a morning or evening walk with their friends or even with their parents. This will help in developing their mental health," he said.

"Students should be confident about their preparation and mustn't panic while appearing in the examination. They should always think positive and be confident of achieving a good score in the examination," he added.

Revision

Emphasising more on revision during the last few days, Dr Mondal advised students to go through their notebooks in the last few days and focus only on what they have studied till now.

"If there is any confusion, students should approach their teachers for guidance and get their confusion cleared. However, they shouldn't much time on such problems," he advised.

JEE Mains Mock Test in CBT Mode

Dr Mondal also advised students to emphasise more on the mock tests in CBT mode and work on time management during the examination.

"Mock Tests are really very important. They help in teaching students time management which is very important during the exam. Correctness and speed, both are important factors in achieving good score in the JEE Mains Examination," he said.

"Students should try to appear in mock tests in the CBT Mode as it will help them familiarise with the exam procedure," he added.
