National Testing Agency, the exam conducting agency of JEE Main Exam 2024, has opened the image correction window for Session 1 of the exam. Candidates who have not uploaded photograph as per the requirement specified by the NTA has been given the opportunity to correct their mistakes.
The correction window has opened from Thursday, January 4 and will continue till Saturday, January 6.
According to the notification issued by NTA, Candidates will have to upload a passport size photograph. The size of the photograph must be between 10 kb to 200 kb and should be either in colour or in black & white with 80 per cent face and without mask. The photograph should be clicked against a white background.
The NTA has also warned the candidates against using fabricated photograph in the application form.
"Candidates may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated i.e. deshaped or seem to be hand-made or computer-made, the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using Unfair Means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly," reads the notification.
The JEE Main Session 1 Examination will be held from January 24 to February 1, 2024 throughout the country. Through this exam, the eligibility of students will be determined for admission to various undergraduate engineering degree programmes.
The exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). While preparing the final merit list of the examination, the best performance of a candidate among the two sessions will be taken into consideration.
