The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the session 1 JEE Main 2023 result for BE, BTech paper 1 on the official websites- jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in. Along with the NTA JEE Mains result 2023, the testing agency has also released the JEE Main final answer key for paper 1.
The JEE Main 2023 results will have subject-wise NTA score and the total marks obtained by the candidates in the JEE Main first attempt. The NTA will be conducting the JEE Main 2023 session 2 on 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 April. The registration for session 2 will begin today at the official website.
NTA SCORE
Since JEE Main 2023 exam is conducted in multiple shifts and dates, NTA scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw or the actual marks obtained by a candidate. The NTA scores for each of the three subjects, mathematics, physics, and chemistry, and the total in BE, BTech of session 1 of paper 1 will be displayed in the JEE scorecard.
The NTA scores for each of the candidates in total in BE, BTech JEE Main session 1 as well as for session 2 will be merged for preparation of results and the overall merit list, ranking.
Best of the two NTA scores will be considered for further processing for those candidates who appeared in both sessions.
JEE MAIN Percentile Calculation:
JEE Main percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
