Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2023 for admission to IIITs, NITs and other Engineering colleges has commenced from today 24 January. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the entrance test for BE/BTech aspirants on 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 January and 1 February. This paper will take place in 2 different shifts one beginning from 9 am to 12 pm and other from 3 pm to 6 pm. For the BArch and BPlanning candidates, the exam will take place in one shift on 28 January.
Prior to the examinations, the National Testing Agency has released an important notice stating that few applicants are not yet eligible to sit for the examination.
The agency has even said that few candidates of JEE Main 2023 session 1 have filled multiple application forms. Their candidature as of now has been kept on hold and their applications are further being scrutinized.
“A communication has been sent to them on their registered email ID .They need to clarify their position with a justified representation. They will be allowed to appear for the exam in the current session only once after their identity is established by them. The exam of such candidates is not being scheduled on 24 and 25 of January 2023,” added the NTA.
