The online application procedure for JEE Main 2022 has been reopened. Students who wish to appear for Session 1 of JEE Main 2022 can now submit their applications online till April 25.
The decision to extend the application deadline for JEE Main 2022 Session 1 was taken by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the JEE Main examination, “in view of the persistent demand from the student community”.
The application window reopened on April 18 and will remain open till 9pm on April 25. The fees can be paid online till 11.50pm on April 25. In the first round, applications were accepted from March 1 to March 31, 2022.
The JEE Main 2022 Session 1 exams are scheduled to be held from June 20 to June 29.
The exams were initially to be held in April. The dates were revised twice — first in March, to avoid overlap with Class XII board exams and then in April, giving in to demands from students.
The JEE Main 2022 Session 2 exams will be held from July 21 to July 30. The schedule for online application for Session 2 will be announced later.
JEE Main is conducted for admission to BE and BTech programmes at NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions, and institutions and universities funded and recognised by participating state governments.
