The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has officially published the JNU PG 2024 First Merit List on June 11, 2024. JNU PG 2024 Admission Reservation Criteria
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5%
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-Creamy Layer): 27%
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10%
- Additionally, under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Act, 2016, a minimum of 5% of seats are reserved for persons with benchmark disabilities, defined as those with at least 40% of a specified disability certified by an authorized body.
The university has outlined the counselling schedule for the PG admissions. Pre-enrollment registration and fee payment for the first merit list will be open from June 10 to 13. The second merit list and the list for supernumerary seats are scheduled to be released on June 18, with registration and payment due from June 18 to 20. The third merit list, along with the supernumerary seats, will be published on June 26, followed by registration and payment on June 26 and 27.
