The Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) released recruitment notification for filling vacancies for the post of Constable (Driver). Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the same from tomorrow i.e. on 8 October at the official website- recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
This recruitment drive will fill a total of 545 vacancies and only male candidates are eligible to apply. As per the schedule, the deadline to apply is till 6 November. The number of vacancies is tentative and may be changed later, ITBP said.
To be eligible, candidates should be at least 21 years old and not more than 27 years old on 6 November. Relaxation in the upper age limit has been given to reserved category candidates. The minimum educational qualification requirement is Class 10 or Matriculation from a recognised board or institution. In addition to the minimum educational qualification, they need to have a valid heavy-duty driving licence.
The application fee is Rs 100 for general, OBC and EWS category candidates. There is no application fee for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and ex-servicemen category candidates. For further details and information, candidates are advised to visit the official website.
