A 1,000 virtual internships are on offer as part of Nestl India's Nesternship 3.0 hosted by Internshala, the recruitment and training platform.
Internships will be available all through 2022 in various profiles, including but not limited to corporate affairs, finance, sales analytics, information technology, legal, marketing, supply chain, food technology, core engineering, and human resources. Interested students can apply till February 23.
Nesternship 3.0 aims at enhancing the competence and employability of the youth in India. These internships will offer experiential learning to empower the selected students with skills to make them future-ready. Each intern will be assigned a mentor from Nestl to guide them during the course of their internship.
In addition to an experience of lifetime of interning with Nestl India, the selected students will receive a prestigious internship certificate and an assured reward of Amazon vouchers worth Rs 10,000 during the 50-day internship stint.
“In another bid to bring meaningful and rich internship experiences to the Indian students, Internshala is hosting Nesternship 3.0. This initiative by the food and beverage giant, is offering them with exciting experiential learning opportunities to make them career-ready,” said Sarvesh Agrawal, the founder and CEO of Internshala. “The paid internships will enable the students to gain practical experience, learn new skills and earn from the comfort and safety of their homes while working on real projects at Nestl.”
Suresh Narayanan, the CEO of Nestl India, said the company believes that the start of a great career begins with a good foundation. “Exposure to the right environment, professionalism, means, and opportunities to exhibit one's skills, passion, and competence are key. This is why for the past two years, we have been hiring young Indians as interns under the Nesternship programme in partnership with Internshala. The programme aims at helping them understand what a professional environment can offer, what a company with purpose and values can offer, and how the students can prove their competence,” he said.
A previous Nestern, Abhijit Paul from IIM Nagpur described his internship experience as "unmatched”. “I never anticipated that an online internship experience can also be so enriching,” he said.
