The Indian Navy has recently released a notification to recruit 224 Short Service Commission Officers for various entries. The recruitment would be done for the June 2024 course and the application process is currently underway.
The last date for submission of online applications is Sunday, October 29. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application by visiting the official website of the Indian Navy at joinindiannavy.gov.in.
Details of the vacancy
Among the 224 officers to be recruited through the Short Service Commission, 18 are for the education branch, while 100 are for the technical branch and 106 for the executive branch.
Eligibility
Executive Branch: Candidates applying for the executive branch must possess BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60 per cent marks.
Education Branch: Candidates applying for the position must have secured 60% marks in M.Sc. in relevant discipline.
Technical Branch: For applying in the technical branch, candidates must possess BE / B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in (i) Mechanical/Mechanical with Automation; Marine; Instrumentation; Production; Aeronautical; Industrial Engineering & Management; Control Engg; Aero Space; Automobiles; Metallurgy; Mechatronics; Instrumentation & Control
