The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) examinations 2024. Topping the charts are Sinchan Snigdha Adhikary for the ISS and Anurag Gautam for the IES. Candidates can view the merit lists on the official website, upsc.gov.in.

In an official notice, UPSC stated, “Based on the results of the written examination of the Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2024 held from 21st to 23rd June, 2024, followed by interviews for Personality Test in December, 2024, the lists, in order of merit, of the candidates recommended for appointment to the posts in Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service are attached as Annexure I & II.”

  4. Enter the candidate’s roll number or registration number.
  5. Download and save the result for future reference.

UPSC IES and ISS 2024 Vacancies

  • Indian Economic Service (IES): 18 positions, with category-wise reservations for EWS, OBC, SC, and ST candidates.
  • Indian Statistical Service (ISS): 31 positions, though two seats remain vacant due to a lack of eligible candidates in specified PwBD categories.

Selections were made on a merit basis, contingent on the availability of vacancies.

UPSC IES and ISS Provisional Results 2024 and Document Submission

Certain candidates' results are provisional, subject to document verification. They must submit the required documents within three months to confirm their appointments, failing which their candidature will be canceled.

To assist candidates, UPSC has set up a Facilitation Counter near its examination hall. Queries can also be addressed via phone at 011-23385271 or 011-23381125 during working hours.

The commission will publish the marks of all candidates on the official website within 15 days of the result declaration.
