The Indian Air Force (IAF) began the application process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2025 from 2 December. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website- afcat.cdac.in.
As per the schedule, the deadline to fill the application form is till 31 December 2024. The recruitment drive for AFCAT 01/2025 aims to fill a total of 336 positions across multiple branches. These vacancies include roles in the flying and ground duty technical and non-technical areas, as well as NCC Special Entry for the flying branch.
The IAF conducts AFCAT twice a year in February and September to recruit eligible candidates as commissioned, Class 1 gazetted officers in flying, ground duty (technical and non-technical branches), and meteorology entry for grant of permanent, short service commission in the Indian Air Force.
Applicants must note that the AFCAT application fee is Rs 550. The exam authority will also open the AFCAT application form correction window in online mode. Candidates will be notified when the correction window link will be made available.
