The Institute of Management Studies, Noida has recently launched a School of English language. The goal of School of English Language is to assist students overcome their phobia of the English language by fostering a sense of confidence, giving them a casual platform to speak English with assurance. The auspicious occasion was graced by the eminent presence of Dr. Kulneet Suri, Senior Director of IMS Noida and Chief Guest Prateek Jain, Assistant Director of Ernst & Young.
Inaugurating the program, Dr. Kulneet Suri, Senior Director, IMS Noida, expressed her gratitude to the whole team who has been working on the project. She emphasised the importance of good communication skills and good command of English in order to have a good placement and the ability to work either in India or anywhere else in the world.
During the ceremony, she highlighted the value of languages by stating that learning new languages will open up new job options. Further she added that the institute is dedicated to giving students exposure to a global environment. India is a worldwide emerging economy, and Indians will have a tonne of chances abroad in the future.
While addressing the students, Prateek Jain, Assistant Director of Ernst & Young shared his experience of using English and communication skills in his career development. He also said that there is a shortage of skilled employees at the international level. Because English is a global language, by gaining proficiency in this language, you can take advantage of employment at the global level.
