At the inaugural ceremony, Suri said, “Educating, grooming and empowering the youth is the need of the hour. We appreciate that Marico Centre for Women Empowerment by ICT Academy has taken this innovative initiative and has planned a holistic intervention. We hope that girl students would be trained as per the industry requirements, which will be shaping bright futures.”

The objective of the programme is to equip girls with vocational skills along with a focus on grooming, communication and workplace etiquette. The programme aims to help in empowering these girls with skills necessary for not just employment but life skills as well.

The Digital Women Economic Empowerment Initiative by Marico Limited was announced on World Youth Skills Day in July 2021, through a collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as well as other implementing partners to digitally train more than 12,000 women and youth across the country via impactful upskilling initiatives. The women empowerment centre at IMS Noida is part of that initiative.

Situated in the heart of Noida city, within a sprawling campus, IMS Noida is a world in itself. The curriculum recognizes the challenges of an interdependent and competitive world and the need for students to adapt and excel in it. According to IMS Noida, the new centre would develop professionals who are committed to their personal and professional endeavors and those who have the vision, courage and dedication to initiate and manage change.
