Scholarships are available in various categories
Students planning to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at the Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Ghaziabad are welcome to apply for the scholarships on offer for the 2022-2024 batch. Based on their eligibility, merit and scholarship, students can get financial support for up to 20% of their tuition fee.
Here is a list of scholarships offered by IMS for PGDM courses and their eligibility:
- Based on qualifying exams
Based on CAT, CMAT and MAT score, students can get scholarships in their first year.
Students scoring 80% or over in CAT and CMAT will get 20% of their tuition fee. Those who score between 70% and 80% will get 10% of their tuition fee.
A scholarship of 20% will be awarded to students who score 90% or above in MAT, 10% of their tuition fee will be granted to those who score between 80% and 90% in MAT.
Exemplary students who rank first and second in aggregate scoring of the PGDM programmes will be awarded gold and silver medals respectively. They will also earn cash awards of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively.
- Based on academic background
Students with a bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering or Architecture or those who have completed their Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy or Company Secretary course and have 70% or more marks in their Class X, XII and graduation are eligible for a 20% scholarship. Students with the same degrees who have between 60% and 70% in their Class X, XII and graduation can get 10% of their tuition fee.
Applicants who have completed other degree courses need to have 75% or more in Class X, XII and graduation to get 20% of the first-year tuition fee. Students with any other degree and 65%-75% marks in Class X, XII and graduation will get a 10% scholarship.
- For students of sister group institutions
A special scholarship of 10% of the first-year tuition fee, that can be over and above the aforesaid scholarships, will be granted to students from IMS Engineering College and IMS University Courses Campus, Adhyatmik Nagar.
- For students of select universities
Students from Delhi University, Jamia Milla Islamia and Jawaharlal Nehru University are eligible for a special 10% scholarship of their first-year tuition fee in addition to the aforementioned scholarships.
- For defence personnel dependents
Applicants hailing from defence families, with either parent serving in the armed forces, will be awarded a 10% scholarship of their first-year tuition fee.
Siblings of IMS students will be eligible for a waiver of 20% of their first-year tuition fee. Parents of the applicant have to submit their photo identifications and an affidavit along with legal documents endorsing the sibling relationship.
