  • Exam Dates: February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025
  • Result Declaration: March 19, 2025
  • Scorecard Download: March 28 to May 31, 2025

Understanding the GATE 2025 Exam Pattern

GATE 2025 will continue its tradition of testing students across various subjects, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of their technical knowledge and analytical skills. The exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode, featuring a mix of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.

The exam will comprise a total of 65 questions, split between General Aptitude (10 questions) and the core subject (55 questions). Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam, which carries a total of 100 marks.

It is important to note that the GATE score remains valid for three years, providing flexibility for students in planning their academic and professional futures.
