  2. Click on the ‘GATE 2025 mock test’ link on the homepage.
  3. Select the desired test paper from the available list.
  4. Enter the required details to access the mock test.
  5. Once the test appears, complete it and submit your responses.
  6. It is advisable to keep a hard copy of the results for future reference.

GATE 2025 Exam Format

This year’s exam comprises 30 test papers, featuring multiple choice, multiple select, and numerical answer-type questions. Candidates may choose to appear for one or two test papers only.

Each paper will be scored out of 100 marks, with 15 marks allotted to the General Aptitude section, and the remaining 85 marks dedicated to the candidate’s chosen subject. Notably, GATE 2025 scores will remain valid for three years from the date results are announced, allowing candidates flexibility for future academic and career applications.

The GATE 2025 examination is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, and will be conducted in a computer based test (CBT) format.
