The revised deadline for application corrections is now November 22, 2024. Eligible candidates can make the necessary changes through the official portal at goaps.iitr.ac.in before the new deadline.

How to Modify GATE Application 2025

  1. Visit the official portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
  2. Click on the active link titled ‘Application changes/modification link for GATE 2025’.
  3. The candidate will be redirected to goaps.iitr.ac.in.
  4. Log in using the assigned credentials.
  5. Make the necessary corrections in the application form.
  6. Submit the changes and pay the applicable correction fee.

For all other category candidates, the last date for application corrections is today, November 20, 2024. Applicants making changes must pay the applicable correction fee based on their modifications.

Initially, the application correction deadline for GATE 2025 was set for November 10, 2024. However, the exam authorities decided to extend the timeline to accommodate candidates requiring additional time for updates.

GATE 2025 Key Details

GATE 2025 offers 30 subjects, allowing candidates to choose one or two test papers from pre-approved combinations.

  • The test consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
  • The exam evaluates Recall, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, and Synthesis skills.
  • GATE scores will remain valid for three years from the result declaration date.

GATE Examination Schedule 2025

The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, and will be conducted online in a computer based format. The test will be held in two shifts daily – 9.30AM to 12.30PM and 2.30PM to 5.30PM.
