IIT Patna: Students witness increase in Pre-Placement Offers

Students at IIT ( Indian Institute of Technology) Patna have received pre-placement offers from 22 companies for different job profiles. “In this session, the institute has seen a growth of 74 per cent in terms of the number of PPOs as compared to the 2021-2022 batch and about 16.70 per cent growth in terms of average pay packages,” according to statement made by IIT Patna.

The students of the BTech 2023 batch at IIT Patna received an average offer of Rs 28.50 lakh. Meanwhile, the average offer made to students last year stood at Rs 24 lakh. In this session, 61 students have received PPOs from 22 companies for different job profiles.

“The top recruiting companies this year were Google; which made 9 offers for SWE interns, Samsung offered 10 jobs, meanwhile, Service Now came up with job offers for 6 students, and Amazon gave four pre-placement offers,” the IIT Patna statement added.

Twilio and Adobe are also on the list, along with four PPOs for software interns. The maximum salary package so far this season has been Rs 82.05 lakh. Furthermore, various MNCs have offered salary packages of Rs 61.05 lakh and Rs 57.75 lakh to BTech students for the software development engineer roles.

Atlassian, Uber, Flipkart, Indeed, SMS Datatech, Arista Networks, American Express, Publicis Sapient, Perceptive Analytics, Accenture India, Bloomberg and DirectI are among the companies that offered pre-placement offers to IIT Patna BTech 2023 batch.
