Indian Institute of Technology, Madras will be opening the modification window for IIT JAM 2024 on November 20 at the official website jam.iitm.ac.in. Candidates having mistakes in their application will have to make corrections and resubmit their application within the stipulated time.
IIT Madras will scrutinise the applications to verify the data entered by the candidates. If any mistakes are found, candidates will be intimated on the registered email and mobile number through SMS.
If any candidate fails to rectify the mistakes made in the application form within the specified time, the application of such candidates may be rejected.
“Failing to rectify the defects within the stipulated time can lead to the rejection of the application,” the examination authority said.
The exam would be conducted on February 11, 2024 for selection of students for around 3,000 seats in postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs for the academic year 2024-25.

The subjects of the exam
The JAM 2024 exam will be held for seven subjects - namely chemistry, geology, mathematics, biotechnology, economics, mathematical statistics and physics. The students will be assigned an All India Rank based on their performance.
