MK Yadav, founder of AI Testified, won the first prize for best innovators in India under the technology segment at TIDE 2.0, the recently held ed-tech Hackathon 2022, organised by the startup incubation and innovation centre (SIIC) IIT Kanpur.
Tide 2.0, which is supported by the Government of India’s ministry of electronics and information technology provides financial and technical support to students, innovators, and startups with an idea across healthcare, deep tech, IoT, AI/ML, and other similar domains.
AI Testified is a unique platform that blends Artificial Intelligence into the school education system and UPSC exam preparation. Being India’s pioneering AI-driven test platform, it is highly beneficial in understanding and overcoming weak areas among the school going students, UPSC aspirants, and those preparing for various competitive examinations.
Recently, the leading tech platform has also signed various MoUs, including one with the Delhi Government and the Delhi Police, pertaining to capacity building and service training.
“AI Testified is not only beneficial for school going kids but also helps to create a continuum of support for education after school, for various entrance examinations, competitive exams and capacity building exams conducted at Corporate and Government levels. AEKA (name of the assessment engine) considers various parameters to identify the weakness of the students and generates customised tests for each student in an endeavour to convert the areas of improvements to areas of strength,” said Yadav.
Recently, various amendments have been made in the education sector, and some of them being new changes, AI Testified has assumed more importance, which will help in better learning and analytical applications of concepts. From next year onwards, CBSE proposes to conduct term-based examinations, with MCQ-based first term, and various central universities including DU and JNU have also proposed to conduct a common entrance examination. Being well established players for preparing students for various competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, Bank PO etc, this platform will assist in helping better preparation.
“AI Testified uses Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning to identify the conceptual strength and weakness of each student, with the belief that each student is unique and has a different learning curve,” said Yadav, adding, “The tests are customised according to improvement areas of each student. Video lectures are also provided to fill in the identified knowledge gap. Also, students are given the choice to use elimination and 50-50 technique to choose the most suitable option. This helps the students to know the accuracy of their concepts and develop their critical thinking ability.”
