Applications for PhDs starting in January 2023 are now being accepted online at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Up to 14 October 2022, the institute will accept applications. Written exams and interviews are used to select students for IIT Hyderabad's PhD programmes.
IIT Hyderabad's official website, iith.ac.in, has an online application process. The non-refundable Ph.D. application fee must be paid through SBI-Collect. A printout of the applicant's application, a payment reference document, and any certificates are required to be carried by the candidate if they are chosen for the written test and interview.
Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) is not required for BTech graduates from centrally supported technical institutions (CFTI) with a CGPA of 8.0 and above to apply to any of IIT Hyderabad's Ph.D. programmes (GATE). However, in order to qualify, students with CGPAs below 8.0 must take the GATE.
