The Indian Institute of Science, (IISc) Bengaluru is set to announce the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 results. Candidates who have appeared for the examination will be able to check their results through the GATE official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in once published on March 16. Using their distinctive login credentials, students will be able to download their scorecards from the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal.
Step-by-step guide on how you can check the results
- Visit the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
- Click on the GATE 2024 results link displayed on the homepage.
- Enter the login credentials.
- Proceed to click on ‘Login’ > visit the candidate portal > check the results.
The scorecards will be available for downloading from the official website from March 23 to May 31, 2024. The GATE 2024 score will remain valid for three years from the result's declaration date.
GATE 2024 was conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024, and consisted of a total of thirty full and sectional papers. For test papers conducted in multiple sessions, the scores will be normalised to eliminate the difference in difficulty level of the different sets of question papers.
Students aspiring to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree in the field of engineering, technology, architecture, science, and humanities, at renowned institutions supported by the MoE and other government agencies, need to appear for this examination and the counseling process afterward. Moreover, several PSUs, such as IOCL, NTPC, and PGCIL, consider GATE scores in their hiring process, highlighting their importance in the job market.
