Good news for students willing to take admission in post graduate courses at Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC). The Application process for admission to the IIMCs for the academic year 2024-25 has begun. Admission to various post graduate courses at the IIMC will be made through Common University Entrance Test Post Graduate (CUET PG) exam.
Candidates who wish to appear in the admission test can apply online through the official website of CUET PG at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in
The last date for submission of online application form is January 24. According to the admission notification issued by IIMC, candidates are required to register themselves before filling in the application form.
The notification also mentioned that admission to various courses will subsequently be held through a counselling process, details of which will be annouced in due course of time.
Eligibility
In order to apply for the course, candidates are required to possess a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
Age limit
General Category - Maximum 25 years as on August 1, 2024 (Born on or after 1.08.1999)
SC/ST/PwD Category - Maximum 30 years as on August 1, 2024 (Born on or after 1.8.1994)
OBC Category - Maximum 28 years on August 1, 2024 (Born on 1.8.1996 or later)
The entrance exam for language courses, i.e. PG Diploma courses in Journalism (Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Urdu) will be held separately and the application form for these courses will be issued on the official website of IIMC at www.iimc.gov.in
