  1. Visit the official website iimcat.ac.in.
  2. Click on the CAT 2024 Answer Key link available on the homepage.
  3. Enter the candidate’s login credentials and click Submit.
  4. View the answer key displayed on the screen.
  5. Download and save it for future reference.

Objection Management Process

According to the official notification, candidates who appeared for the test can challenge the provisional answer key if they find discrepancies. To do so, they must access the Objection Management link on the CAT website using their login credentials.

The objection window will open at 6PM on December 3, 2024, and close at 11.55PM on December 5, 2024.

Steps to Raise Objections to CAT Answer Key 2024

  1. Select the questions to challenge.
  2. Provide supporting documents in PDF format.
  3. Pay the applicable objection fee.
  4. Finalise by submitting the objections.

The final results, which will incorporate the changes based on valid objections, are expected by the second week of January 2025. Qualifiers will become eligible for prestigious programmes at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

The exam was conducted on November 24, 2024, across test centres in approximately 170 cities. It was held in three slots: morning, afternoon, and evening, with candidates reporting a moderate difficulty level.
