The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta has finally announced the much-awaited Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 results. Candidates can now view their scorecards using their application number and password on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024, conducted on November 24, saw the participation of 2.93 lakh candidates out of 3.29 lakh registered. The final answer key was released on December 17, prior to the result announcement by IIM Calcutta. Among the top performers, 14 candidates secured a perfect 100 percentile, with 13 of them from an engineering discipline and 1 from a non-engineering discipline. Additionally, 29 candidates achieved a 99.99 percentile, including 28 engineers and one non-engineer. Another 30 candidates scored a 99.98 percentile, showcasing a competitive batch of high scorers.

IIMs will soon release shortlists for the next stage of the admission process, which includes Written Ability Tests (WAT), Group Discussions (GD), and Personal Interviews (PI). In addition to IIMs, 86 non-IIM institutions will accept CAT 2024 scores for their management programs.
