The event will be chaired by Ashok Pandey (CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, India); Ingunn Westvik Jolma (University of Stavanger, Norway); Chiu-Yue Lin (Feng Chia University, Taiwan) and Chin-Tsan Wang (National Ilan University, Taiwan).

The International Conference on Pollution Prevention and Clean Technologies will be the first-of-its-kind event to discuss technology and innovations and find solutions to grim environmental issues. The speakers and researchers will throw light on how innovative clean technologies can be used in the manufacturing, industrial and other sectors for cutting down on the impact on climate and the Earth. It will also consider various aspects of prevention of pollution by using technologies.

Scholars and researchers will interact with each other on topics such as the production of carbon-neutral products and searching for new pioneering financial models that will support new visions.

“IIIT Delhi is extremely proud to be associated with the first International Conference on Pollution Prevention and Clean Technologies. While economic development activities are necessary, this event will bring a platform to discuss innovative clean technologies that can mitigate the waste risks related to such activities. From discussing the shift to sustainable resources to improving energy efficiency and designing sustainable manufacturing systems, the event will allow a perfect international platform for discussing possible solutions. We also hope that the event will offer an insight on how global carbon footprint can be minimized strategically,” said Debarka Sengupta, associate professor, IIIT-Delhi.

“At a time when we are discussing aspects such as climate change and increasing pollution levels, ICPPCT would be a great opportunity for the world to explore new ideas and innovations. The event will also offer room to discuss Sustainable Environmental Management System (SEMS) designs and environmental economics, along with waste management and multi-criterion decision-making models for sustainability. We hope ICPPCT will pave the path for determining innovative environmental policies for the world,” said Gopalakrishnan Kumar, University of Stavanger, Norway.

Scientists would deliver keynote speeches on ‘Waste to Wealth: Resource Recovery & Sustainability’, ‘Microplastics and nanoplastics pollution and abatement: A New paradigm of waste management for environmental sustainability’ and more.
