IGNOU July Fresh Admission 2024: Registration deadline extended again; Know last date to apply here

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today re-extended the July 2024 fresh admission deadline till October 31 without any late fee. The extension is for all the programmes except for semester-based and certificate programmes. Interested candidates can fill up the IGNOU July 2024 application form through the official website- onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.

"Extension of last date for July, 2024 Fresh Admission till 31st Oct, 2024 in respect of all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for July, 2024 session (except for Semester based & Certificate programmes) ODL Portal- http://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in", IGNOU said on X.

Earlier the deadline was till 15 October which is now extended to 31 October. Before 15 October, the deadline to register was 30 September for the ODL and online programmes. The list of programmes provided online is available at the official website – iop.ignouonline.ac.in. Students can check the programmes and apply accordingly.

IGNOU Fresh Admission July 2024: Steps to apply

1. Go to the official website of IGNOU – ignou.ac.in
2. Click on the ‘Register Online’ tab followed by ‘Fresh Admissions’
3. Click on the ‘New Registrations’ tab
4. Fill in all the required registration details
5. Set a ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ and fill in all the required information
6. Submit and login with the required credentials
7. Select the programme to be studied and submit the registration form
