The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) extended the registration deadline for fresh admission into programmes offered through online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode to 10 September. Interested and eligible candidates will have to register through the IGNOU official website- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
IGNOU took to Twitter to notify the extension of the registration window closure deadline, the post reads “Extension of last date for July 2024 Fresh Admission till 10th Sept 2024 in respect of all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for July 2024 session (except for Semester based and Certificate programmes).”
The IGNOU July admission 2024 deadline, however, has not been extended for certificate and semester-based programmes. Previously, the last date to register online for the July session was extended to 31 August from 31 July 2024.

- Visit the official website- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
- On the homepage, find the ‘Click here for new registration’ link
- Enter the registration details as required
- Choose the courses applying for and make the fee payment
- Review all details entered in the application form and download the confirmation page
- Take a printout of the same for further reference
